The WESC call for abstracts is now closed. We have received a high number of quality abstracts across all 8 WESC Themes and from 32 different countries. WESC is shaping up to be a truly international multi-disciplinary event.
You can download the abstract template here.
The expected timeline for abstract review and notification is outlined below:
Presentation slots at WESC 2019 will be of 20 minutes in duration. Mostly this will be used for 15 minutes of presentation and 5 minutes of questions, however, delegates are encouraged to be creative with how they use their time towards the goal of providing an open forum for discussion.
16:9 or 4:3 presentation format are acceptable. All PC that will be used have PowerPoint installed. Other formats may be compatible, but this cannot be guaranteed. Internet access will be available on all presentation PC but software installation rights are restricted.
Papers will be invited to a special edition of the Journal of Wind Energy Science after the event. Authors will have 6 months to submit this. Please follow the JWES guidelines for the paper submission: https://www.wind-energy-science.net/for_authors/manuscript_preparation.html
All mini-symposium authors need to contact their chairs to discuss expectations in terms of presentation length.
